School Water Harvesting and Sanitation - Kotra

The Kotra is in a remote part of Rajasthan located to the west of Udaipur.

 

The project aims to bring clean water and sanitation facilities to 15 schools. Schools will be provided with new or refurbished wells and hand pumps (in place of open unhygienic wells), and toilet facilities (where today there are none).

The programme envisages 15 schools being helped in this way, which along with hygiene training, will greatly improve the health of the children and in particular, encourage more girls to attend school.

 

Sales of Just Deli’s bottled water are providing funds to enable clean drinking water to be available for up to 1000 of the poorest children in the world.
